Temple-Run-2

You might want to clear your schedule and wave goodbye to your productivity, because Temple Run 2 just arrived on Android. In addition to much-improved visuals, this hugely popular sequel brings “gorgeous new organic environments.” It comes just a week after making its debut on iOS, where it has already risen to the top of the App Store’s free chart with more than 20 million downloads in four days.

Temple Run 2 made a somewhat surprising appearance on iOS yesterday, but as is often the case with new apps and games, there was no word on a possible Android counterpart. Fortunately for those itching to get their hands on the title, there isn’t long to wait. Developers Imangi Studios have confirmed that it will be coming to Google Play and the Amazon Appstore next week.

When the mega-hit game Temple Run launched on Android, people jumped at the chance to play this highly addicting endless running game. In fact, Temple Run was downloaded a whopping 1 million times in just three days. Unfortunately, the excitement didn’t last very long for some users (including myself) due to random crashes. It was quite frustrating. I was itching to collect coins, outrun evil monkeys, and slide under arcs of fire. Only problem was — the game would reset after every run. Thankfully the team at Imangi Studios heard the cries of anxious adventurers and quickly pushed out an update.

March 27th is here, and as promised, Imagani Studios has released Temple Run onto the Google Play Store. This highly addictive game has been winning over iOS users for months and has been downloaded over 40 million times. It’s already been downloaded 5,000 times since it landed in the Play Store and I have to admit, the game is addictive. I downloaded it myself an hour ago and my kids have been fighting over it ever since.
