Have you ever ordered a product from the Google Play Store? If so, I’m sure you were outraged by the shipping fees and disappointed with the restricted shipping options. The only shipping option available at present is 1-2 business days, for a fee ranging between $5.99 and $13.99 – depending on the product you’re purchasing.

However, it looks like Google is gearing up to introduce some new shipping options.

Apparently Samsung could’t keep its excitement over the Galaxy Note 10.1 contained and felt the need to announce a global launch ahead of their August 15th event. It’s official, and just like the Samsung event invitation, they’re now referring to the Note 10.1 as the “new way.”

The first solely Sony branded smartphone has begun shipping out to retailers and carriers across the globe. The Xperia S marks the first of phones to go out since Sony acquired Ericsson and although the photos still show the Ericsson logo on the back, I have to assume it’s since been removed.
