If you didn’t already know, Google likes to name Android’s major iterations after tasty desserts. Starting with Cupcake and proceeding alphabetically, we’ve had Donut, Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb, Ice Cream Sandwich, and now Jelly Bean. “K” is up next, and after a few rumors and process of elimination, most of us have made up our minds that the next iteration will be called Key Lime Pie. However, if you’re a skeptic, or are still holding out for Kahlua cheesecake, you might want to check out the drawing by Googler Manu Cornet.

Nothing quite brightens my day like a good ol’ Apple spoof, and believe me, there’s no shortage of those. We all had a good laugh when Apple announced the iPad Mini. The way they kept a straight face as they tried to convince their devout to empty their wallets for a two-year piece of tech, was absolutely priceless. While Apple tried to put as positive of a spin on the product as possible, nothing quite tells the truth like this banned iPad Mini Promo.

As Halloween approaches, some of us will be ghouling up our houses with spider webs, corpse limbs, and the quintessential carved pumpkin. Since we love Android, and we’re pretty sure you do too, we thought it’d be cool to combine the fun of Halloween pumpkin carving with our affinity for Android. Before I get into details, let me just say this will be all about fun, so don’t worry if you’re not the most skilled pumpkin carver.

It’s no secret that I love Android. I spend countless hours talking about it, writing about it, and best of all — enjoying it. I mean, what’s the point if you’re not having fun… right? Well, I want to make sure everyone is having as good a time as I am and enjoying as much of the available content as possible. The teases keep coming, only this time, we now have an official date of launch for the highly anticipated Series 03 Android Mini Collectibles. As you can see from above, Dyzplastic teased another two mini collectibles: Clear and Red. The Clear comes with a mini-mini Android collectible within his belly while the Red is, well… red.
