The app that has become famous around college campuses is now ready to show itself in a different form: as a desktop website. The creators have been testing a web version of Yik Yak in private beta for a while now, but as of today the site is open for public use.

Many Community fans were upset at the news back in May that the popular sitcom was being taken off the air.

Well, Yahoo has come to the rescue, announcing that it is picking up the show for a sixth season to be screened on little-known video streaming site Yahoo Screen.

Good news Android fans: tickets to the annual Big Android BBQ are now on sale! What’s the Big Android BBQ? Well… picture a backyard BBQ full of people who all share your affinity for Android and then multiply it by a googol. You spend countless hours reading Android blogs, listening to podcasts, and interacting via forums, hangouts, etc. and the Big Android BBQ is a way for us all to actually hang out, eat some great BBQ, and talk Android (or whatever else comes to mind).


It looks like Valve threw a few extra coals into their engine after hearing about the 3rd party Steam app that was released earlier this month. They were not going to let any other app take their steam and so they have now released the official Steam app onto both Android and iOS. I’d like to say users are ecstatic, but there seems to be a catch.
