Amazon has started sending out invites for a new device launch event that it is holding on June 18th in Seattle. The email is accompanied by a video that shows people interacting with a mysterious device, which makes them go all gaga over it.
When I first read this headline, I thought Sony had already obsolete it’s own QX lens cameras with new models, barely a few months after launch:

But no: these new features are free, and can be applied to your existing lens-cam with nothing more than a firmware update. That’s pretty neat, right? It’s almost as if Sony has been paying attention to Fujifilm and it’s awesome feature-adding, camera-improving updates.
The latest commercial for the Optimus G Pro starts as a homage to Apple’s iPhone 5 ad, “Cheese!”, which famously advertised iOS 6’s Panorama functionality.
Man, though, does LG one-up Apple in this advertisement, not only showing how the Optimus G Pro can create a 180 degree panorama of a scene… you can actually use the camera to stitch together a full 360 panorama as well, which LG calls a VR Panorama.
