Google has updated its platform distribution numbers for the 1st week of July, which shows KitKat’s continuous growth and the slow and steady decline of Jelly Bean.

The latest version of Android is now the third most popular distribution of the OS, finally surpassing the three year old Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and is now right behind Android 4.2 and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with a market share of 17.9%.

ZTE today launched its latest entry-level smartphone in the United Kingdom, and it is one of the most affordable Jelly Bean-powered handsets at just £60 off-contract. It’s called the Blade Q Mini and it’s exclusive to Virgin Mobile’s pay-as-you-go network, and you can pick one up today at Argos stores across the country.

Thanks to an early listing from a Polish retailer, we already know pretty much everything there is to know about the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, but Samsung today confirmed its specifications when it made the 7-inch slate official. According to the South Korean company, the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite “provides users a variety of ways to capture, view, listen, create, and share content with others without compromising value.”

Samsung’s new Galaxy Tab 3 Lite went on sale in Poland today, and it’s by far the cheapest slate the South Korean company has offered to date. It carries the same design as the original Galaxy Tab 3, but it’s priced at just 399 Polish Zloty (PLN), that’s around $130 in the U.S. and £80 in the U.K.

Galaxy-Grand-Neo

Samsung is planning to add a new smartphone to its Galaxy Grand family in the near future, and if these leaked images are anything to go by, it’ll be called the Galaxy Grand Neo. The entry-level device will be positioned somewhere between the original Galaxy Grand and the Galaxy Grand 2, and it borrows the Galaxy S4’s looks to grab attention.
