LG-Tab-Book

LG today launched a new, super-sized Android tablet that aims to compete with devices like the Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 12.2, and to ensure it’s the most powerful slate on the market, it has been equipped with an Intel Core i5 processor — a chip that’s traditionally used to power notebooks and desktop PCs.

Xtended-NavBar

The great thing about having virtual navigation buttons on Android is that they can disappear when you don’t need them to provide you with more screen space. They can also be modified. Using a new tweak called Xtended NavBar, you can turn the standard Android navigation buttons on your rooted device into handy shortcuts and quick settings toggles.

LG G2 Snap

LG, today, uploaded a video on YouTube showing the speed difference of the upcoming Android 4.4 KitKat update to the current Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean build on the LG G2. The video compares the performance of two G2s across a bunch of day-to-day tasks including web browsing, Knock On and more. 

HTC One X+

Following the Taiwanese manufacturers announcement on Twitter last week, AT&T is now rolling out the final update to HTC’s former flagship smartphone of 2012, the One X+. This upgrade, software version 2.15.502.1, brings the latest build of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and Sense 5.0 to the handset, in addition to the usual multitude of bug fixes and stability improvements.

Carphone Warehouse has today started taking pre-orders for the LG G Flex, and as you might expect, prices are pretty steep. You’ll have to pay at least £49 ($80) up-front for the handset, while the cheapest tariff is £52 ($85) per month for two years.
