Zynga Zombifies Building 44’s Bugdroid In Honor Of ZombieSmash! Launch

To celebrate the launch of Zynga’s latest hit ZombieSmash!, Google gave them special permission to go ahead and zombify the Bugdroid statue outside of Building 44. That was pretty cool of Google and I’m thinking this little stunt will give rise to some decorating madness come next Halloween. Anyways, ZombieSmash! has been out on iOS for quite some time now but today marks its debut on the Google Play Store — and what a way to debut if you ask me.

ZombieSmash! is a castle defense game in which players flick and smash zombies to prevent an all out zombie apocalypse from happening. Available in eight languages, ZombieSmash! features four different game modes:

  • Campaign Mode: Challenges players to survive for over 31 intense days against the mounting zombie threat and another 30 nights in the Camp Nowhere campaign
  • Endless Siege Mode: Confronts players with a never-ending zombie assault – hold out as long as possible, racking up an ever-rising body count
  • Sandbox Mode: Gives players all the tools to rain destruction down on those stinking, moaning, godless zombies without any of the peril
  • Bonus Nights: Smash and destroy zombies in new ways. Unlock this special mode through extended gameplay and by using your braaains!

Zynga has also bundled the ZombieSmash! live wallpaper into the app, as well as ensuring the game is optimized for Android tablets. If you’re the type who always has zombie apocalypse on the brain, then ZombieSmash! is your game.

You can grab it from the Google Play Store now for the low price of $.99. Be sure to also check out the time-lapsed video of Bugdroid being zombified.
