Google Partners With MGM To Bring Over 600 New Titles To The Google Play Store

Google continues to ink deals in order to bring top content to the Google Play Store. Earlier in the month, Google reached an agreement with Paramount to bring hundreds of new titles to the Play Store and today, we’re happy to report they have struck a deal with MGM to bring an additional 600+ titles courtesy of the roaring lion.

These new titles have begun trickling into the Play Store so if you live in the U.S. or Canada, you should start to see them soon. As I’ve stated before, I’m happy to see Google add more titles to their movie library, however, I wish they would come up with a more competitive pricing model. That’s about the only thing keeping me from renting anything from the Google Play Store at this moment. Other than that, I’m glad to see Google continuing its effort to build upon the Google Play Store and the awesome content it carries.
