Google is making it possible to install Android apps directly from Google Search. The feature, which is already available for some users, makes it even easier to find Android apps and games.

How many times have you searched Google for an app? It’s a common practice — especially if you aren’t looking for a specific title; you can load up the Google app, or, for real convenience, use your voice and “Ok Google,” and search for things like task managers, note takers, and puzzle games.

Now, the top Google Search result will allow you to download and install selected apps from within Google Search. Simply tap the “Install” button that appears alongside the search result, accept the permissions, and wait for the app to be downloaded to your device.

“Not everyone is getting this yet, but enough are that it’s probably in the early stages of a wide rollout,” reports Android Police. To see if you’ve got it, simple search for an app using Google (one you haven’t already installed), then see if you can download it without being redirected to the Play Store.

If you don’t have it yet, you should get it over the coming days and weeks as Google makes the feature available to more Android users. Note, however, that it appears to work only inside the Google app on your Android device — not in Chrome.
