Sony is bringing its new Xperia Z5 and Xperia Z5 Compact to the U.S., five months after it made its debut in the U.K. and Taiwan. You’ll be able to get your hands on them next month, with prices starting at $499.99.

The Xperia Z5 is Sony’s newest flagship, and although it’s not quite as exciting as the Xperia Z5 Premium with its 4K display, it’s still packingĀ almostĀ everything you would expect to get in a high-end smartphone.

That includes a 5.2-inch 1080p display, an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, 3GB of RAM, a microSD card slot, and an impressive 23-megapixel rear-facing camera that ranks very highly in DxOMark’s smartphone camera rankings.

The Xperia Z5, like many of Sony’s Xperia devices, it made almost entirely out of glass, and it’s water-resistant.

The Xperia Z5 Compact is also identical, but its 4.6-inch 720p display makes it smaller and more manageable. It also has a smaller battery, but the rest of its internals mirror those of the larger Xperia Z5.

The Xperia Z5 Compact will be priced at $499.99 off-contract, while the larger Xperia Z5 will be priced at $599.99. Both phones will come unlocked for use with GSM networks, and you’ll be able to order them on February 7.
