This year’s Google I/O conference will kick off on May 18, company CEO Sundar Pichai has confirmed. The three-day event, which will give us our first glimpse at the next big Android update, will take place at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View.

Google uses I/O to showcase major updates to its software that are coming in 2016. As well as Android 7.0 N, we will likely see improvements to Android Wear, Chrome OS, various Google apps and services, and more. We may even get that new Google Glass.

Pichai recently revealed that Google may let its fans name the next Android upgrade using an online voting system. Android and Chrome UX director Glen Murphy has also promised split-screen multitasking for Android tablets, but we’re hoping we’ll get that before Android N.

Google is yet to confirm when I/O tickets will be available, but Pichai says we’ll get more information soon.
