If you’ve got a Galaxy Note 5 or Galaxy S6 edge+ on T-Mobile, you’ve been missing out on using your device with Gear VR. But not anymore.

The carrier is today rolling out an update that finally brings support for Samsung’s virtual reality headset.

Samsung’s new Gear VR headset, which was announced in September and can be had for $99 — half the price of the original model — works with all of Samsung’s latest flagships, including the S6 edge series and the Galaxy Note 5.

But those who chose to buy their Note 5 or S6 edge+ on T-Mobile didn’t get support for Gear VR out of the box — and they’ve been waiting for it to arrive for a while. Now a new update is rolling out now to deliver it — along with improved security thanks to the latest patches from Google.

This isn’t a major update — it certainly doesn’t include Marshmallow — but it’s a big one if you’ve been itching to dive into VR with your Samsung phablet. If you haven’t already received an update notification, you can search for it from within the software update section of the Settings app.
