Google has rolled out an update for its Play Music app for Android that prevents songs from vanishing from your microSD card. The frustrating bug was introduced several weeks ago, and it left users unable to find tracks they had stored locally for offline listening.

Strangely, the issue only affected tracks saved in Google’s All Access streaming service, leading some to believe that the company just didn’t want users to save them to a microSD card. But that’s not the case.

The latest Play Music update — which also address a problem that caused some songs and albums from My Library not to be displayed — should prevent songs saved to a microSD card from vanishing. You can download it via the Google Play link below.
