Leaked BlackBerry Venice looks too good to be true

BlackBerry first Android smartphone is on its way to AT&T, according to recent reports, and based on the leaked photo above, it’s going to be an absolute stunner. In fact, it almost looks too good to be true, but it comes from a very reliable source.

Believe it or not, Venice is a “slider” device, according to all the reports, so that base you see beneath the curved glass display is expected to pull out to reveal a physical keyboard long-time BlackBerry users will already be familiar with.

The display itself will reportedly boast a Quad HD resolution like other Android-powered flagships of 2015, as well as a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, and a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera.

The device appears to be running a near-stock version of Android, but according to a recent Reuters report, it will come pre-installed with BlackBerry services — as you might expect.

This is a render, of course, so it’s hard to tell if this really is an accurate representation of the Venice. But it was uploaded to Twitter by Evan Blass (@evleaks), who has an excellent track record when it comes to smartphone leaks.

Would you buy an Android-powered BlackBerry if it looks this good?
