A new Motorola DROID handset has appeared in early benchmarks ahead of its official unveiling. Codenamed “Kinzie,” the handset boasts Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 810 processor, a super sharp Quad HD display, and a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera.

Kinzie has the XT1585 model number, and like all Motorola DROID devices, it will almost certainly be a Verizon exclusive. With a 5.5-inch display, it’s slightly bigger than the 5.2-inch DROID Turbo, but it maintains the same Quad HD resolution that’s becoming commonplace on high-end Androids.

The biggest difference between Kinzie and the DROID Turbo is the processor. While the DROID Turbo is powered by last year’s Snapdragon 805, Kinzie is expected to have the latest Snapdragon 810, a 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.9GHz.

Other internals — according to the benchmarks — include 3GB of RAM, a 20-megapixel rear-facing camera capable of shooting 4K video, and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Kinzie is expected to arrive this year alongside a slightly smaller DROID codenamed “Clark,” which will reportedly have a 5.2-inch display. We don’t have a more specific date for its release just yet.
