If you love your Galaxy S6 but despise TouchWiz, you’ll soon be able to get a stock Android experience without rooting. A number of stock Android themes are coming to Samsung’s official Theme Store, bringing pure Material Design magic as Google intended it.

XDA Developers forum member cambunch has built two Material Design themes for the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, and they’ve been available to those with a rooted handset for about a month. But now that cambunch has been accepted as a Samsung theme designer, they’re coming to the Theme Store.

Both the light and dark themes have already been approved by Samsung, and they should be available to download soon. However, Samsung only updates the Theme Store once a week, and it has already rolled out this week’s refresh — so don’t expect to see them until next week now.

Because these will be official themes, users won’t be plagued by the same bugs that were present in the hacked versions, cambunch has confirmed.

It’s also worth remembering that they won’t deliver a complete stock experience due to Samsung’s restrictions, but it’s the closest you’ll get without rooting. The themes will skin icons, menus, the notification shade and Quick Settings panel, stock apps like Phone and Messages, and lots more.
