LG has already leaked out its upcoming G4 accidentally, so it has nothing to lose with its latest teaser, which provides us with our first official glimpse at the handset’s all-new leather back panel.

Posted today on Google+, the image showcases the “brand new LG G4 in vegetable-tanned leather,” which is expected to be one of around nine G4 design options — three of which are to be made entirely out of plastic, like previous LG devices.

I’ve already voiced my opinions on the G4’s leather back, which doesn’t look as subtle or as classy as that of the Moto X’s, but I’m hoping the device will change my mind once I get my hands on it.

LG doesn’t provide any specifications with the image, but we already know the G4 will have a 16-megapixel camera with an f/1.8 aperture, Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 810 processor, and likely LG’s new 5.5-inch Quad HD display.

We get a sneak peek at that display in the LG promotional video below:

LG will officially unveil the G4 on April 28. Until then, you can probably expect a lot more teasers.
