Good news, OnePlus One owners! The wait for a Lollipop-based Cyanogen OS update is finally over.

Cyanogen today announced that its latest Cyanogen OS 12 software is now rolling out to all One handsets, featuring Material Design, the new Cyanogen email app and Theme Engine, and a whole host of other new features.

Thanks to its pure Android feel, Cyanogen OS 12 looks a lot like Google’s own Lollipop software, which means One users get to experience Material Design in all its glory. What’s more, they can even make third-party applications look better.

CM 12 includes the new App Themer, which allows users to skin applications independently. If you apply a theme that doesn’t quite fit a certain app, then, you can skin that particular app all by itself.

CM 12’s new Theme Engine also provides support for free and paid themes, and gives users a greater selection of themes than ever before. “We’ve now made it even easier for you to turn your operating system into your own personal canvas,” Cyanogen says.

The update also debuts Cyanogen’s new email app, which is powered by Boxer. It provides features that were previously missing from Cyanogen’s own email app, including Exchange support, the ability to add multiple accounts, and canned responses for quick replies.

The app also allows users to change their LED color for email notifications, and to customize swipe gestures. Thanks to the new partnership with Boxer, all Cyanogen users get the premium version with all features absolutely free.

“The ‘L’ update has been a labor of love for many of us here, with major contributions from the CyanogenMod open source community,” Cyanogen says. You can now enjoy those starting today if you’re a OnePlus One owner.
