Earlier this year, Sony told users that only the flagship Xperia Z series was part of its Lollipop upgrade plans, leading many to believe everything else would remain on KitKat.

But the Japanese company has today confirmed both the Xperia T2 Ultra and the Xperia C3 are also in line for an Android 5.0 upgrade.

In a blog post updating users on its update progress, Sony announced that its Lollipop rollout for the Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 Compact, and Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact continues today, reaching even more markets around the world.

If you haven’t already received Lollipop and you own one of these devices, then, it could well be on its way to you this week.

Sony also confirmed for the first time that the Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia C3 will also receive a Lollipop upgrade. The company hasn’t provided a release date for it yet, but it does say it will share “more on timings soon.”
