If you’re looking for a killer deal on one of 2014’s best smartphones, look no further than this eBay offer on the second-generation Moto X with a bamboo back — which is now just $259 on Verizon.

The device included in the deal is a 16GB model, and obviously comes without a contract. The listing says it’s “manufacturer refurbished,” but in actual fact it’s in brand new condition; it has just been re-boxed. Either way, this is a killer deal on this device.

The new Moto X boasts a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, and a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with optical image stabilization and 4K video recording.

You’ll likely get it with Android 4.4.4 KitKat pre-installed, but Motorola has already begun rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop for this device.

While the new Moto X may not be quite as exciting as some of the flagships we’ve already seen for 2015, it’s still a great device that’ll cost you a heck of a lot less off-contract.

Its specifications will be plenty good enough for the latest apps and games for at least a few years yet, and because it’s a Motorola device, it’s going to keep getting the latest Android software, too.

As is always the case with eBay deals like this one, it’s available only while stocks last, so you’ll want to jump on it as soon as you can if you’re interested.
