HTC has begun rolling out its Android 5.0 Lollipop update for One M7 handsets on T-Mobile in the U.S. The release weighs in at just under 730MB, and it includes new features and some major improvements.

While you may be waiting a little while longer for the new Sense 7 user interface that comes pre-installed on the new One M9, this Lollipop upgrade is well worth looking forward to.

In addition to Android 5.0 and all of the features it brings — like lock screen notifications and Smart Lock — this update also overhauls the recent apps window, allows users to search within the Settings app, and makes significant improvements to performance and battery life.

Lollipop has already reached unlocked One M7 handsets, as well as those connected to Sprint and other networks around the world — and now those subscribed to T-Mobile can get it. If you haven’t already received an update notification on your device, you can expect one soon.

If you’d like to search for it manually, visit the software update section inside the Settings app.
