Yes, I know, Samsung’s latest smartphones don’t look all that spectacular in the recent photo leaks. But I’ve been confident that better images would do them justice, and the latest, which show off the Galaxy S6 Edge once again, prove me right.

Published by CNET Korea, these photos of the S6 Edge look like they could be official Samsung photos meant for the press. Unlike the blurry, unflattering shots we’ve already seen, these finally prove that Samsung’s new smartphones will be as attractive as the rumors promised.

In addition to its curved glass display, the S6 Edge carries Samsung’s familiar physical home button — which is likely to have a built-in fingerprint scanner — and a gorgeous metallic frame with shiny, chamfered edges. It also appears to have a flat glass back, similar to that of the Nexus 4 or the iPhone 4.

The S6 Edge’s power and volume buttons remain in familiar places, but the headphone jack has been relocated to the bottom of the device, alongside the micro USB port and speaker. On the top, you’ll find its IR blaster and a noise-cancelling microphone.

I don’t know about you, but these pictures make me really excited for the S6 Edge. I still don’t think I need a smartphone with a curved display, and I’m almost certain I’ll break it — but that won’t stop me longing for one.

The S6 Edge will get its official unveiling alongside the regular Galaxy S6 at Mobile World Congress next week, and you’ll be able to watch the whole thing live on YouTube.
