LG G3 handsets on Sprint are finally getting their Android 5.0 Lollipop updates. Users have a long list of improvements and new features to look forward to, including Android TV support, Smart Lock, and much-improved visuals.

The G3 is one of a number of Sprint devices receiving Lollipop this month, with the update already gracing the HTC One M8 and One M7, and the Samsung Galaxy S5.

This release includes Lollipop features like lock screen notifications, and improved multitasking, multi-user support. It also promises much-improved battery life and better performance.

Users will also see Google’s Material Design overhaul in places, but it’s mostly concealed by LG’s own user interface. You will find, however, that LG’s own icons and user interface elements suit Lollipop’s stock look pretty well.
