Sprint may have approved the One M7’s Lollipop update ahead of its successor’s, but the carrier hasn’t forgotten about the One M8. Those with HTC’s latest flagship can expect to get the release as soon as today, Sprint says.

If you add the Galaxy S5 to the mix, that’s three Sprint devices that have received their Lollipop updates in one week. If only other carriers could follow suit.

The new update brings the One M8’s software version up to 4.20.651.10. Users can expect all of Lollipop’s headline features, including lock screen notifications and improved multitasking, as well as some Sense design changes, and better performance and battery life.

Sprint has also received the Lumen toolbar, which just about everyone hated.

If you haven’t already received your update notification, you can search for it manually from within the software update section inside the Settings app. Bear in mind, however, that not all users may get it on day one, so you may have to wait a few days for it to reach you.
