The Galaxy S5 isn’t the only handset on Sprint that’ll be getting a Lollipop update today. HTC has confirmed that its latest Android 5.0.1 software is also coming to One M7 handsets connected to Sprint, complete with improvements to the Sense user interface.

HTC Product Manager Mo Versi confirmed on Twitter that Sprint has given HTC the greenlight to rollout its Android 5.0.1 Lollipop update for the One M7, and the Taiwanese company isn’t going to make users wait any longer than it has to.

The rollout will begin today, Versi said, so providing there are no hiccups, everyone should have it within a few days. The software will be delivered over-the-air, and you can search for it manually from within the software update section of the Settings app if you don’t want to wait for a notification.

In addition to Lollipop features like improved multitasking, Smart Lock, and lock screen notifications, HTC’s update for the One M8 also brings Sense improvements. User should also expect better battery life and enhanced performance.
