Google Keep is the latest Android app to get its Material Design makeover for Android 5.0 Lollipop. Its new update, which is rolling out now via Google Play, delivers a flatter, more colorful look, as well as performance improvements and bug fixes.

Keep joins a long list of Google apps that are getting visual overhauls for Lollipop, which also includes Gmail, Play Music, Google+, Camera, and Chrome. Google has also delivered new apps, like Messenger, its new SMS client that’s filled with great features.

Keep’s update isn’t quite as exciting as some of the others, though. Aside from its new look and some performance improvements, it’s essentially the same app that you’ve already been using. However, it hasn’t been long since Keep got a big update that added Android Wear compatibility and more.

Google is rolling this update out now via the Play Store, but like all Google app updates, it will come in phases. If you can’t wait, you can download the APK captured by Droid-Life and install it yourself.
