If you’ve already ordered your new Nexus 6, you now need a case to go with it. After all, that giant 5.9-inch display isn’t likely to fare well if you drop the device on the ground. But Case-Mate has you covered; its first two official Nexus 6 cases are coming soon to the Play Store now, with prices starting at $35.

It can sometimes be hard to find decent cases for brand new smartphones — particularly if they’re not an iPhone or the latest Galaxy S and they’re not expected to sell in their millions in just a few weeks. So it’s good to see Google has teamed up with Case-Mate to deliver some protection options for the Nexus 6 early on.

Case-Mate currently has two options on the way for the Nexus 6. One, the Naked Tough Case, is a plastic shell that protects the back and sides of your device. It’ll be available only in clear, allowing you to show of the Nexus 6’s new design, and it has an integrated kick stand for propping your device up in landscape mode and watching videos.

The second and slightly more expensive option, the $40 Stand Folio Case, is a snap-on case with a folding front cover that protects your new handset from all angles. It has a microfiber lining that sits against your handset’s screen, with room for ID and credit cards. You can also sit the edge of your device on the front cover to stand it up.

Both of these cases are “coming soon,” according to their listings, so if you haven’t already found some protection elsewhere, keep an eye on the Play Store.
