You can now pre-order your Nexus 9 from Amazon and have it delivered to your door. The retail giant has begun taking orders slightly early, and pricing is identical to Google’s, starting at $399 for 16GB of storage.

Amazon is currently offering just the two Wi-Fi options in black and white initially, so you’ll need to shop elsewhere if you want one in sand, or if you want LTE connectivity. In addition to the 16GB model at $399, then, there’s a 32GB model at $479 — and both will ship free when the device becomes available on November 3.

Today is also the day that Apple’s new iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 go on sale ahead of next week’s launch. If you still haven’t decided which device is best for you, check out our in-depth comparison that measures all three spec for spec.
