Samsung today announced the commercial availability of the Galaxy Note 4 in Korea from September 26th at its ‘Galaxy Note 4 World Tour: Seoul’ event. The phablet was originally supposed to be available in Korea from October but the strong sales of the new iPhones led Samsung to push forward its release date.

Samsung had originally announced the Galaxy Note 4 in IFA at Berlin at the beginning of this month, and the device is scheduled to be available in more than 140 countries by the end of October.

As the originator of the Note category, Samsung takes immense pride and responsibility” said Donju Lee, President and Head of the Strategic Marketing Office at Samsung Mobile. “Galaxy Note 4, which maximizes the usability of the large screen and S Pen, will take mobile user experience to a whole new level”

The Galaxy Note 4 is Samsung’s best phablet ever and contains a number of new innovations including the new generation S-Pen with a pressure sensitivity of 2048 psi, a 5.7-inch Quad HD AMOLED display, Fast Charging and a 16MP camera with Smart OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation).

In Korea, the Galaxy Note 4 will be available in Charcoal Black, Frost White, Bronze Gold and Blossom Pink on all the three major carriers in the country — SK Telecom, Uplus and KT.
