Facebook has rolled out a new update for its Messenger app for Android that delivers Android Wear support, giving those with compatible watches the ability to reply to friends with voice replies right from their wrists.

If you have an Android Wear device, the Messenger companion app should be installed automatically when you update to the latest version through Google Play. You will then begin to receive incoming Facebook messages on your wrist, and you’ll have the ability to reply from your watch — providing you don’t mind speaking those replies out loud.

The Android Wear app also offers the ability to mute notifications — a feature that has also been added to the regular Android app and is accessible from the notification pane when a Messenger alert is received. What’s more, Facebook promises that the app is now faster and more reliable.
