Apart from CyanogenMod, Paranoid Android and AOKP, SlimROM is another popular custom ROM for most Android devices out there. The team behind SlimROM is known for adding some unique and useful features to their ROM every once in a while.

The team recently started supporting the OnePlus One and has already included a nifty new feature in their ROM for the device — the ability to customize the screen off gestures action.

By default, OnePlus allows users to fire up the camera, enable torch or change music tracks via simple gestures on the screen of the One even when the display is off. The developers behind SlimROM has taken this feature to the next level by allowing users to customize the action that the gestures can do.

Users can select any pre-specified task or an app when they perform a simple off-screen gesture. SlimROM has also added support for additional gestures like a swipe down, up, left and right etc.

The ROM is already available for download over at SlimROM’s download center and also contains some other minor OnePlus One related tweaks.
