The midrange HTC Desire 610 is coming to AT&T this month, and it will sell for just $200 off-contract. It delivers HTC’s excellent build quality, front-facing speakers, and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera — and it will be available on Friday, July 25.

The Desire 610 isn’t quite as swanky as HTC’s flagship One devices, but for a midrange handset with a polycarbonate shell, it’s both good-looking and built to last. HTC is famous for its design and quality materials, and existing customers will know that these things don’t go out of the window if you choose a more affordable device.

The Desire 610’s internals are far from high-end, however. It has a 4.7-inch display with a slightly disappointing 960×540 resolution, a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage. There’s also a microSD card slot, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Desire 610 ships with Android 4.4 KitKat along with HTC’s latest Sense 6 user interface, which includes BlinkFeed and Zoe.

If specifications aren’t hugely important to you and you want an affordable device — off-contract — with excellent build quality, then the Desire 610 could well meet your needs. Follow the source link below to find out more about its upcoming arrival on AT&T.
