Following the announcement of bringing its miniature flagship — the Z1 Compact — to the United States, Sony has also announced that its latest flagship tablet — the Xperia Z2 Tablet — will soon be landing exclusively on Verizon.

The Xperia Z2 Tablet sports some high-end internals including a Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and an 8.1MP rear camera with an IP58 rating inside a body that is both thinner and lighter than the iPad Air. It also supports Verizon’s ultra fast LTE network.

While Verizon would be selling the tablet for $599 on a two-year contract, it will be allowing users to grab it for $499 for a limited period of time. Not really a good deal by any stretch but if you are really inclined on getting the Z2, you will at least end up saving $100.

As a bonus, Sony will also be bundling its digital noise canceling headset (MDRNC31EM) for all users who pre-order the tablet. Other freebies included with the tablet include 90 days of free music streaming, 6 free movies from Video unlimited and more.

The Xperia Z2 Tablet goes up for pre-order tomorrow with its final release date still remaining a mystery.
