Google I/O 2014 app now available on Android

IO-app

The official Google I/O 2014 app for Android is now available to download from Google Play. If you’re going to the event, or even if you’re not, it provides you with the conference agenda and presentation reminders, the ability to watch live streams, access to I/O-related conversations on Google+, and much more.

Don’t think the Google I/O app is only useful if you’re attending. In fact, it’s arguably more useful for those who can’t attend because it’s one of the quickest and easiest ways to stay on top of what’s happening. If you have any interest in the future of Android, Android Wear, and maybe even new Nexus tablets, then this app should be installed on your device.

You can explore the I/O conference agenda, and view details on themes, topics, speakers, and partners for each presentation. You can also get reminders for the presentations you’re most interested, and you’ll even be able to watch some of them live directly within the I/O app.

Those who are attending can enjoy the detailed map of the conference, which will help you navigate the venue and get to where you need to be — and take advantage of the facilitated pre-event Wi-Fi configuration. You can even sync your I/O schedule between all of your devices and the I/O website.

The I/O app also offers an awesome video library, which lets you look back and enjoy I/O content from previous years to see how far Android has come.

To download the Google I/O app, which is, of course, completely free, follow the Google Play link below.
