Oppo has silently gone ahead and unveiled a smaller version of its current flagship , the Find 7, that comes with a gigantic 5.5-inch display — dubbed the Oppo R6007.

Even though Oppo might not be calling the R6007 a mini Find 7, the handset sports the exact same design as the company’s current flagship in a more diminutive package. The specs of the handset have also been toned down to match its lower price point.

There is a 4.7-inch 720p resolution display up front on the handset protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3. There is also a Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.6GHz, an 8MP rear-facing camera aided by an LED flash, a 2MP front-facing shooter, and a 2140mAh battery. The handset is relatively petite with a waistline of 7.75mmm and a weight of only 128 gms.

Sadly, the R6007 will be running on an Android 4.3 version of ColorOS, which is a bummer. The handset will be available in China from tomorrow i.e. June 3rd in black and white colors at a price point of CNY 1,799 ($288).
