Sprint launches LTE in 41 new cities & expands Spark to an additional 6

The demand for 4G LTE connectivity has never been greater; consequently operators are pulling out all the stops in an effort fulfil the high demand and Sprint is no exception. To keep up with its competitors, the popular operator announced this morning that its launched its high-speed 4G LTE data in an additional 41 locations across the United States, whilst another 6 cities will be getting and enjoying Spark.

For those unaware, Sprint Spark is an optimized version of the operators LTE network, which is designed to deliver peak wireless speeds of 60Mbps on any capable device, including the all-new HTC One (M8) and Samsung Galaxy S5. ‘With its unique combination of network technologies, spectrum capacity and tri-band devices, Spark is designed to greatly improve the performance of video and other bandwidth-intensive applications,’ says Sprint.

Sprint Spark is currently available in the following 24 cities: Austin, Texas; Baltimore; Chicago; Dallas; Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; Fort Worth, Texas; Houston; Jacksonville, Fla.; Kansas City, Kan./Mo.; Los Angeles; Miami; New York; Newark, N.J.; Oakland, Calif.; Orlando, Fla.; Philadelphia; Provo, Utah; Salt Lake City; San Antonio; Tacoma, Wash.; Tampa, Fla.; Trenton, N.J.; Waukegan, Ill.; and West Palm Beach, Fla.
