Koushik Dutta a.k.a Koush, today, rolled out an update for AllCast that adds support for Amazon’s Fire TV. This update will allow AllCast users to mirror the content of their Android devices to Amazon’s Fire TV as well as beam music, videos and photos to it.

It was just over a week ago that Koush had teased Android mirroring to Amazon’s set-top-box

Unlike Chromecast, Roku and other similar devices though, Fire TV owners will need to download and install the AllCast app on it. The app can be downloaded for free from Amazon’s AppStore so users don’t need to worry about learning how to sideload the APK.

AllCast will also allow users to beam their photos, videos, movies, music and more to Amazon’s set-top-box right from their Android device. If you own a Chromecast, Fire TV, Roku, Xbox or just about any other device that is support by AllCast, definitely make sure to grab the app.
