Verizon Bound LG Optimus Exceed 2 Surfaces [Leak]

LG Enact 2

A renowned source of leaks on Twitter has revealed the existence of yet another smartphone, but this time a midrange offering from LG. The handset going by the Optimus Exceed 2 moniker is reportedly headed towards Verizon Wireless in the U.S. as the press image clearly indicates.

Akin to the current crop of LG devices, the Optimus Exceed 2 appears to have very slim bezels on either sides of the display, with the top and bottom bezel relatively narrow as well.

There’s no word on the specs sheet of the handset at the moment, but considering the hardware we saw on the predecessor, this one shouldn’t be too different.

There’s no time frame of launch given either, so we’re hoping to hear more from Verizon in the coming weeks. Expect the handset to cost nothing more than $50-$100 on contract as it’s a midrange offering.

Verizon carries several midrange devices in its lineup including the likes of the LG Enact which features a slide out QWERTY keyboard. So it’s clear that there is ample demand for midrange handsets although all the talk is usually about high end flagships.
