Meet Samsung’s New Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 [Leak]

Samsung’s next-generation Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 has been leaked today, ahead of its official unveiling. It appears to be slightly thinner than its predecessor with narrower bezels above and below the display, and it has slightly squarer edges like Galaxy Note 3.

The images were published on Twitter by @Evleaks, so we have no doubts about their authenticity. But unfortunately, there are no specifications accompanying them — so we don’t yet know what the device will have under the hood.

We can see how its design has been improved, though. The bezels down either side of the display are significantly thinner than those on the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0, and Samsung appears to have shaved a few millimeters away from the top and bottom ones, too.

It also looks like Samsung has repositioned the microSD card slot to the bottom right edge of the device. If you look closely, you’ll see a small plastic flap on the white model above — though that could also be a SIM card slot for data connectivity.

The wallpaper on these devices suggest they’ll run Samsung’s latest TouchWiz user interface on top of Android 4.4.2 KitKat — just like the new Galaxy S5. It’s unclear when they’ll be available, but we hope to hear more soon.
