AT&T Moto X Now Getting The Android 4.4.2 Update

Moto X

AT&T is now rolling out the much awaited Android 4.4.2 update for the Moto X smartphones running on its networks. The new software comes a bit late in the day, even compared to other carrier variants in the U.S., but owners of the handset will be glad it has finally arrived.

Since the smartphone was already running Android 4.4, this update will only bring minor improvements to the device. One of these changes will be the inclusion of the Google Cloud Printing service and the usual bug fixing patches. Users can also expect better battery life and better support for international roaming with this new update.

As this is a staged rollout, all users might not get the update immediately and it might take a day to receive the notification. Alternatively, you can try heading over to Settings – About Phone – System Updates to pull the update manually from there as well.

If you have already received the update, make sure you let us know in the comments below.
