Chromecast Officially Launches In The U.K. This Wednesday [Leak]
Yesterday. a snapped screenshot of an internal employee bulletin was posted on the internet revealing that Google’s latest cloud-streaming media device, the Chromecast, will officially go on sale in the United Kingdom on Wednesday, March 19, 2014.
According to the leaked image, the unit will be available to purchase this Wednesday morning at 9AM from any of Dixon’s nationwide retail stores, however, a specific price has not been provided, though we expect it to cost somewhere in the region of £25 — which roughly equates to $40. It’s unclear at present whether Google will also be selling the Chromecast through the Play Store here in the U.K.
