Hardware Specifications Of The Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom Revealed [Leak]

Galaxy S4 Zoom

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom (SM-C115) has just made an entry into the GFXBench database shedding light on some of its hardware. Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, this camera + smartphone hybrid will only borrow the Galaxy S5 moniker and will be nothing like it in terms of hardware.

The GFXBench entry reveals that the Galaxy S5 Zoom will pack a 4.8 inch 720p display and a 19 megapixel camera (possibly ISOCELL) along with 2GB of RAM. The page further reveals that the device will feature the Exynos 5260 hexa core chipset which consists of a quad core processor and a dual core processor. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo is one of the first devices to feature this unique chipset. Android 4.4.2 is revealed to be running on this new Samsung device.

The Korean manufacturer is yet to make the device official, but knowing that it has announced a mini and a Zoom variant of its Galaxy S flagship since 2012, this new revelation doesn’t surprise us. The company’s Galaxy S5 mini has already made its way to the rumor mill, so perhaps Samsung will launch the two devices simultaneously.
