Back in January, HTC introduced the Desire 310 as a brand new ultra-affordable dual-SIM smartphone marked for Europe, however, the Taiwanese company failed to provide any pricing or availability information before now. Earlier today, the Happy Telephone Company announced that the handset will launch in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands on April 10 for prices ranging from €150 to €170.

In terms of hardware, the Desire 310 packs a 4.5-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, a Mediatek MT6582M chipset powered by four 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 central processing units, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB via microSD), a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, a Mali-400 GPU and a 2,000mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery.

The device will run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean straight out of the box skinned with the latest version of HTC’s Sense 5.1 custom user interface. However, the handset is expected to receive the much-anticipated 4.4.2 KitKat update in the not-too-distant future.
