A leaked soak test screenshot has been published on the internet revealing that AT&T’s much-anticipated Android 4.4.2 update for LG’s former flagship phablet of 2013, the G Pro, is currently in the final phase of development and should start rolling out by way of an over-the-air update very soon. It’s rumored that this upgrade ferries the latest build of KitKat, in addition to several enhancements for the company’s extremely unique user interface.

Functionality wise, Android 4.4.2 is an incredibly major upgrade from 4.3, packing a completely redesigned user interface, SMS message integration in the standard Hangouts application, Google Now on the home screen, Wi-Fi printing capabilities for HP ePrinters and Google Print customers, autocomplete for the traditional telephone dialer, Emoji integration for Google Keybaord, built-in word processing software and lots, lots more.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any news with regards to the rollout date at this stage, but, according to LG, more information will be provided ‘at a later date’ — so be sure to check back as we’ll let you know as and when the upgrade is set to start rolling out.
