Yesterday, LG officially unveiled the G2 Mini a scaled-down variant of its flagship smartphone, the G2, which made its debut appearance back in August, 2013. Unfortunately, we haven’t seen very much of the mini, except for the press renders that were published yesterday, but, thankfully, LG is now looking to publicize its latest mid-range device and has started this process by uploading an official teaser video on its YouTube channel today.

With regards to specifications, we already know that the handset will pack a 4.7-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, a Qualcomm MSM8226 Snapdragon 400 chipset powered by four 1.2GHz Cortex-A7 central processing units, an Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera.

Be sure to check back as we’ll be bringing you the latest coverage from the Mobile World Congress next week, where the G2 Mini will be on display for all to see!
