AT&T has officially announced that its offering HTC’s flagship smartphone of 2013, the One, completely free of charge on any of its 2-year contracts in celebration of Cyber Monday. This promotion will be available for the rest of today and will expire at 23:59 PDT later tonight.

The One was released back in March 2013 and is a very impressive high-end smartphone, which packs a gorgeous 4.7-inch Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution, a powerful 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, an ultra-responsive Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 32/64GB of internal storage, a 4-megapixel UltraPixel rear-facing camera and a slightly disappointing 2,300 mAh non-removable battery.

Straight out of the box, the handset ship running Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean skinned with HTC’s famous Sense 5 UI, but will be upgradable to the latest build of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and Sense 5.5 via a quick over-the-air update, which you will be urged to complete once you insert your SIM card and power up the device.

In addition, the One comes bundled with all the usual software features which you’d expect from any modern-day flagship HTC smartphone, including an UltraPixel camera, Zoe and dual front-facing BoomSound speakers enhanced with Beats Audio.
