Lots of rumors have been bandied around over the past week or so, highlighting Sony’s upcoming Xperia Z1 variant, the Z1S, and yesterday a leaked image was published on a Chinese website revealing the much-anticipated device in all its glory.

In addition to the image, the leaker also imparted some specifications. The handset will feature a 4.3-inch IPS 1080p capacitive touchscreen powered by Sony’s Bravia X-Reality engine, a 2.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 20-megapixel rear-facing Exmor R sensor, 16GB of internal storage, microSD expandability, 4G LTE capabilities, as well as IP57 dust protection and waterproofing.

All-in-all the external, internals and camera appear to be pretty similar to the original Z1’s.
