Last month HTC unveiled the One Max, as a dramatically upscaled variant to its immensely popular high-end Android-powered smartphone, the HTC One, and now Sprint has officially announced that the phablet will be available to purchase on any of its 2-year tariffs starting at $299 or for $25 per month with the Sprint One Up program, as from tomorrow, November 15.

The One Max is a very respectable smartphone, which packs a 5.9-inch Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920, a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, an Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB/32GB of internal storage (expandable up to 64GB via microSD), a 4-megapixel rear-facing camera and an impressive 3,300 mAh non-removable Li-Po battery.

The handset will ship running the latest build of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, with HTC’ Sense 5 UI plastered over the top, however, the device is expected to receive the much-anticipated Android 4.4 KitKat upgrade in the not-too-distant future. In addition, the One Max ships with all the usual software features that you’d expect from any high-end HTC smartphone, including BoomSound speakers enhanced with Beats Audio and Zoe.
