If you happen to be a fan of what Samsung’s doing with TouchWiz, then you may be interested in a new app that brings the Galaxy S4’s lock screen to other Android-powered smartphones. It’s free and it runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and above, and you can download it now from Google Play.

The app is inventively named Galaxy S4 Lockscreen, and it brings the latest TouchWiz lock screen to your smartphone. You can customize certain features — such as the unlock animation or “lockscreen effect” — and enable shortcuts to your favorite apps. It’s just like the real thing.

It appears to work well, too, with over 1,300 five-star ratings, and glowing reviews from users. It’s not just for third-party Android handsets, either, of course; you can also install it on older Samsung devices like the Galaxy S III or Galaxy Note II to get the latest TouchWiz lock screen without having to wait for Samsung’s updates.

Personally, I’m not a huge fan of the TouchWiz lock screen. I have a Galaxy S4, and when I’m not running stock Android on it I replace Samsung’s lock screen options with DashClock widgets. But if you are, you can download Galaxy S4 Lockscreen from Google Play now for free — just follow the source link below.
